ARE YOU AN EXPERIENCED FINANCIAL CONTROLLER / ACCOUNTANT LOOKING FOR AN EXCITING NEW OPPORTUNITY TO PUT YOUR SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE INTO?!
We are currently resourcing for an experienced Financial Controller / Accountant to start ASAP for our successful client based in the Leiston area. This role will be a permanent position.
The hours will be 09:00hrs - 17.00hrs on a 35 hour working week basis.
The salary rate will be circa £40,000 - £45,000pa, subject to experience and skills with the potential participation in the discretional annual bonus scheme.

The Financial Controller / Accountant will need to have the following skills, experience, and qualifications.
Relevant accounting qualification(s) e.g. ACA/ACCA/CIMA, or the ability to demonstrate appropriate skills and knowledge
Strong business acumen and business partnership skills
Proactive in identifying and implementing changes to drive profitability
The ability to challenge preconceptions, assumptions, and status quo
Excellent numeracy skills & attention to detail
Good communication skills with the ability to build cross functional relationships
ability to apply statistical concepts and derive insights from financial data
Good written, presentation skills and excellent MS Office skills (Powerpoint/Excel)
Experience of designing and maintaining spreadsheets
Client relationship skills

Duties and responsibilities will include, but not limited to.
Ownership and accountability of preparation of management accounts, yearly budgets, quarterly forecasts.
Preparing and maintaining weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts, USD/EUR hedge
Analysing in Power BI trading and net margin by sales team/customer/product and pass information to the relevant people in the company for review and plan of action
Analysing stock position and highlighting issues to the relevant team members
Preparing Business Review and Working Capital presentations for review by the Group parent company
Processing Payroll journals in the system based on the reports from the 3rd party Payroll
company
Be the main point of contact for the auditors
Participating in new software implementation.
Providing financial administrative support to all departments.
Suggesting changes or improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency, and cost reductions.
Management and development of a small financial team
