We are recruiting on a part-time basis for a Payroll Administrator to join our busy Payroll Services team. Potential remote / hybrid working possible after induction / training.
As a payroll administrator, the duties and responsibilities will be:
You will receive payroll information from our client(s), review and prepare for entry to the payroll software. You will update payroll data with changes to include new starters, leavers, and salary amendments. With high attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality being extremely important, you will pride yourself on your thoroughness and be able to work to deadlines provided in advance to ensure payroll is not delayed.
Various payrolls will need to be prepared for review - all of which run monthly. There will be other administrative tasks to complete as well as ensuring the system is updated correctly and at times, some other related tasks.
Previous experience of processing or preparing payroll/s using Xero, BrightPay, Sage would be ideal but not essential as training can be provided on these platforms.
Due to the nature of the payrolls being run once a month, there could be flexibility in the number of hours worked week to week, depending on workload.
Beccles, Suffolk but with Hybrid / Remote working available.
20 hours per week (with some flexibility either side)
Salary: £23-27,000 pro-rata. We will also consider applicants who prefer more hours.
