Are you an experienced Industrial ARC Metal Paint Sprayer (s) seeking immediate and long-term opportunities? Join our client’s team in Wallsend for an immediate start with potential for permanent roles for the right candidate.
Dayshift Working Hours:
• Monday to Thursday: 07:00 - 16:00
• Friday: 07:00 – 15:30
Backshift Working Hours:
• Monday to Thursday: 16:00 – 01:00
• Friday: 15:30 – Midnight
Pay Rates:-
Day Shift
• £23.50/hour for the first 38 hours
• £30.55/hour for weekday overtime in excess of 38 hours
• £35.25/hour for Saturdays
• £47.00/hour for Sundays and Bank Holidays
• Subject to completing a Multi-functional training form.
Back Shift
• £26.02/hour for the first 38 hours
• £33.83/hour for overtime beyond 38 hours
• £39.03/hour for Saturdays
• £52.04/hour for Sundays and Bank Holidays
• Subject to completing a Multi-functional training form.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare surfaces by blowing off, degreasing, and masking.
• Mix paint to precise specifications.
• Apply paint and spray coatings for cosmetic repairs.
• Spray 2-component paints to the required thickness.
• Conduct quality checks on painted surfaces.
• Perform touch-ups and repainting as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Train The Painter (TTP) Silver
• CCNSG Safety Passport (preferred)
• ICATS (preferred)
• OPITO (preferred)
• IPAF 3a+3b
Experience Required:
• Proficiency in ARC metal spray application.
• Prior experience in similar sprayer roles.
• At least 1 year of experience in industrial painting (preferred).
Additional Requirements:
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Residency in Northeast England with reliable transportation to Wallsend.
• Proficient in the English language.
• Knowledgeable about paint and metal applications.
• Flexible with working hours, including shifts.
