IRS Recruitment is urgently hiring experienced Platers for a major long-term project with a trusted client in Wallsend, Tyne and Wear. If you have a background in heavy steel fabrication and structural work, we want to hear from you today!

Requirements
- Proven experience in heavy steel fabrication and structural plating
- Hold or be willing to obtain a CSCS card
Shift Patterns Available
(Please indicate your preferred shift when applying – we’ll do our best to accommodate.)
Dayshift
Mon–Thu: 7am–4pm
Fri: 7am–3:30pm
42 hours/week
Backshift
Mon–Thu: 4pm–1am
Fri: 3:30pm–12 midnight
42 hours/week
Excellent PAYE Rates
Dayshift
- £21.50/hr – First 38 hrs
- £27.95/hr – Overtime
- £32.25/hr – Saturday
- £43.00/hr – Sunday & Bank Holidays
Backshift
- £23.81/hr – First 38 hrs
- £30.95/hr – Overtime
- £35.72/hr – Saturday
- £47.62/hr – Sunday & Bank Holidays
