The aim of this role is to.. *Co-operate with Warehouse Manager to ensure the smooth operation of all inward and outward movement of goods. You will be required to.. * Have own transport due to location * Hold a current forklift certificate for: counterbalance forklift truck, man up combi-truck and second level order picker and to undertake training for any other equipment which the Company may operate or acquire in the future. Having obtained a Forklift ticket will be preferred in this role, however, full training will be provided. We are currently recruiting for x2 Production Supervisors to start ASAP for our successful client based in Halesworth. This position is a permanent role with a fantastic competitive salary rate of £23,000-£25,000 depending on experience! The production supervisors will be overseeing a shift of team leaders in our clients filling and packing production department. As a Production Supervisor you will be required to work on a rotating weekly pattern of 5.45am-2.45pm or 1pm-10pm. The production supervisors' duties will involve: -Mentoring and developing Junior Supervisors -Ensuring production lines are set on time and achieve optimum efficiency's and outputs to ambitious targets -Supervise a number of team leaders, developing them to achieve and deliver through their teams -Monitor and drive for the highest standards by ensuring finished goods is to the specification and meeting quality standards -Proactively identify and resolve day to day problems, striving for continuous improvement -Workforce planning to include identifying agency contingent workforce requirements and liaison with other departments -Responsible and active role in Health and Safety and housekeeping Essential Skills & Experiences: * Experience as a Supervisor within a busy & fast paced manufacturing environment / FMCG * Excellent literacy and numerical ability * Excellent self-motivational and team motivational skills with ability to lead with authority * Good interpersonal and communication skills Does this sound like the perfect opportunity for you?!
